This painting has been done on three separate canvases. Each giving a separate message and when kept together, completes a story of Budha's life.In the search of moksha, he reached Divinity. How and why his son Rahula leaves the palace to join his order at a very tender age.
TO START WITH I HAVE CREATED THE PALM AND THE FACE OF BUDDHA ON THE
CANVAS.
I HAVE USED VARIOUS TECHNIQUES TO BRING OUT A THREE DIMENSIONAL EFFECT
ON THE MINDS OF VIEWERS. THE FEEL OF BUDDHA'S PRESENCE.
In the first canvas, it has been shown the mantras which the monks chant. The Vitarka asana, where
Buddha sits with intellectuals in long discussion to enfold his eight fold path of moksha. The palm
has been created. it is not only painted but to bring in the drama the creation adds aura to the whole
canvas.

The second canvas speaks of Buddha sitting in a discussion with the people who are also in search
of soul an solace. There I have again used relief work to create an impact on the viewers.

The third canvas talks about Rahula and his cousin leaving all palatial comforts to Join Buddha in
the monastery.
The lotus holds a great significance in Buddha's life.
