I have painted durga shakti in many forms. This subject gives me immense pleasure. Shaki is power and every one likes to worship the powerful to stop destruction on this earth. She is worshiped to gain victory over evil.
Durga, is now known world over. Now with internet connections and Indians trotting all the continents Ma Durga is also going places and being worshiped in all the parts of the world.
Last year we had the pleasure to see Ma Durga in Helsinki.
I have done this painting with oil paints on a 20"X 24" framed canvas.
