As a child, I was like a beautiful butterfly, enjoying life to its uttermost. My dad and Mom, the two pupils of my eye, loved me very much. I had a great sister, who always acted like a grandmother, taking charge of me and trying to protect me from all the earthly vices.After ten years, a baby brother came into my life,I started taking care of him just as my sister did for me.
I come from a joint family,where, family values,were very important. I had five sets of grand parents,all stayed in a big haveli in Ajmer, Rajasthan.So, my father, apart from having his own three brothers, had a lot of cousin brothers and sisters.
During religious occasions and other ceremonies, our house was fully packed,the rooms were full, beds were shared,even there was queuing up for bathrooms.
My life was very much protected and taken care of, but before I could open eyes my to the world I was settled down with a tall &fair Mechanical engineer. The only son, who was more like a father figure than a friend. No shortcomings but a book worm, an ardent Rabindra sangeet lover, very composed, less sensitive and even more, less social. A big foodie, would measure people, as to how hospitable they were from the food offered when we visited them.
At sixty four, still glued to the computer,hunger to gather more knowledge,has the appetite to collect more information and appear for exams, this urge has lead him to study in Hindi, a language which he is not much familiar with.We are still co existing to meet our priorities and sleeping tight at night.
